From the original Steel City Hockey and Tigertown Minor Hockey in the beginning, to Proctor & Gamble, Westinghouse, Stelco and Dofasco Industrial leagues, PEI Oldtimersand Hamilton Oldtymers,and our very own Men's Hockey League, the Hamilton Doublerink has served the Hamilton hockey community for nearly 40 years. We are very proud and honoured to have done so, and will continue to serve Hockey Hamilton for many years to come.
Built in 1972, this centrally located hockey arena has been a staple in the Hamilton hockey community for 5 decades. Hamilton Doublerink Arenas, the first facility to offer year round hockey, is a family owned and operated arena that gives you, the spectator, the greatest place in the city to watch a live hockey game. For our growing minor hockey clientele, our spacious heated upper lounge allows parents and grandparents a place to watch both arenas in comfort. With easy access from major highways and ample parking, the Hamilton Doublerink Arena is an excellent place to host any tournament.
From Hwy-403 Eastbound: East on Hwy-403 to (Hamilton) Rt-8/Main St. exit. East on Rt-8/Main St. 8.9 Km (5.5 miles) to Parkdale Ave. (Note: At about 8 Km (5 miles) east on Rt-8/Main St., you will encounter a traffic circle. At this point Rt-8 forks to the right and becomes Queenston Rd. Follow the traffic circle left to stay on Main St.) North (left) on Parkdale .8 Km (.5 mile) to Barton St. West (right) on Barton .5 Km (.3 mile) to Hamilton Doublerink Arena. Arena is on the north (left) side of the road.
From QEW Eastbound: East on QEW to Burlington St. exit 89. West on Burlington to Parkdale Ave. South (left) on Parkdale to Barton St. East (left) on Barton .5 Km (.3 mile) to Hamilton Doublerink Arena. Arena is on the north (left) side of the road.
From QEW Westbound: West on QEW to Rt-20/Centennial Pkwy (Hamilton) exit 88. South on Centennial Pkwy to Barton St. West (right) on Barton 1.9 Km (1.2 miles) to Hamilton Doublerink Arena. Arena is on the north (right) side of the road.
From Downtown Hamilton: East on Rt-8/Main St. to Parkdale Ave. (Note: If you encounter a traffic circle, Rt-8 forks to the right and becomes Queenston Rd. Follow the traffic circle left to stay on Main St.) North (left) on Parkdale .8 Km (.5 mile) to Barton St. West (right) on Barton .5 Km (.3 mile) to Hamilton Doublerink Arena.
