Steel City Staff will be working with our coaches and their teams to ensure player development in our league. On and Off the Ice.

We will hold a draft weekend with the division coaches in selecting the teams and will make the effort to balance our teams as we see needed.

We will have Certified Coaches and Trainers ( all police checked ) to help Steel City with our Development League. If you are interested in Coaching or being a Trainer with one of our teams please email cacohcky@shaw.ca or call Dan at 905-578-1738.

Steel City on ice instructors have all played high levels of hockey and look forward to helping your child develop.

Sponsorship - Sponsor a team and receive your Co. name on the back of a set of Jerseys and also have your Co. logo and information placed on our website for one full year.

Cost...$500.00

House league divisions - Pre-Hockey School to Juvenile

• team balancing & evaluations
• residence is not an issue
• 5 on 5 play NHL size ice / non-contact
• no red line
• two 10 minute stop time periods
• third period run time

Breakdown of our in house league divisions and what we offer each division

Pre-Hockey School 3 & up - will have, practices with their coaches , and 5 on-ice sessions with Steel City Hockey instructors and their coaches. Will also play games to work on what they were taught in their practices . Cost per player is $400.00 plus tax.

Tyke 5/6 - Tyke will have games, practices with their coaches , and 5 on-ice sessions with Steel City Hockey instructors and their coaches. Cost per player is $400.00 plus tax.

Novice 7/8, Atom 9/10, Pee Wee 11/12, & Bantam 13/14 Divisions - Will have games and practices including 5 on-ice sessions with Steel City Hockey Instructors and there coaches. Cost per player is $499.00 plus tax.

Midget 15/16, & Juvenile 17/18/19 Divisions - will play games only per week and Steel City Hockey on ice Instructors will hold open practice with their coaches for each Division for 5 sessions during the season to those wanting to continue to develop their skills. Cost per player is $499.00 plus tax for Midget. $400.00 plus tax for Juvenile.

Deposit of $100.00 or full payment with registration are being accepted Saturday February 11th,
18th, 25th, March 3rd, 10th 2012 at the new rink site in our trailer from 10-2pm . At the corner of Fruitland rd. and South
Service rd. This will secure your spot for the opening season.

Terms of Payment
1.A player registration can be paid in full on-line by credit card
2.A player can pay in full by mailing a chq. & registration form to Steel City Hockey office.
3.Payment plan pay a deposit of $100.00 at time of registration along with 4 post dated chq. dated June 1, July 1, August 1, September 1.
4. All registrations given after June 1/2012 will require a $250.00 deposit and p/d chq. for balance dated August 1/2012.
